"I LOVE YOU" IN PERSIAN

One of my colleagues, Greg, wanted to impress me. he had found this website and had started to learn Persian by his own. But he couldn’t keep his secret, so he told me about his new experience and showed me the website.

In the website there are some expression with their exact meaning and the similar expression in English. One of the sentences is “JIGAR-E TOE BIKHORAM”. The exact meaning that was written for it is “I will eat your liver” and the explanation is “a romantic way to say I LOVE YOU”!!!!!!

Tonight, he is going to say “JIGAR-E TOE BIKHORAM” to his wife. I am glad that his wife is not Iranian.
